I hope you're happy now!

I hope all you bleeding heart liberals who thought Barack Obama was the savior of the new republic now see him for what he truly is: just another politician full of hot air and empty promises.

America is in no better shape economically than we were before Obama descended from the heavens. We are deeper in debt, deeper in government regulation, deeper in bipartisan BS, and more of us are unemployed and broke than ever before. His every campaign promise has to be ringing empty in your ears.

And the Gulf oil disaster is the last straw; it illustrates his lack of leadership ability and inability to operate when things get tough. He hasn't acted because he doesn't know what to do. What kind of president operates that way? You tell me, you voted for him.

The next time some new promising face pops up on the Democratic horizon I hope you are slower to call him the Messiah and faster to tell him to go peddle his snake oil elsewhere.

There is no customer service anymore

I could not agree more with Tim Knox's article in your recent edition about the lack of customer service in area businesses. It's not just fast food. I get lousy customer service everywhere I go. I went into Wal-Mart the other day and I felt like I was invisible and intruding on their time.

I had to ask several people where to find an item and they all looked totally ticked off that I had the nerve to even ask. When I finally got ready to check out there were only two registers open and people were lined up for miles. When I finally got to the register the lady was so rude I almost walked out without my groceries.

How do these places stay in business? Because no matter how rude they are we keep going back. Well not me. I'll never set foot in that place again and I will tell everyone I know about my experiences there.
