On Wednesday, April 14, Heritage Elementary held some fun physical activities in conjunction with a fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society.
This year's theme was "Laugh Out Cancer". All students walked the school track and upon completion snow cones were given to each student for a $3 donation.
All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society for Relay for Life on behalf of the Heritage Rams team.
The Heritage Team will be participating at the Relay for Life Cancer walk on Friday night at Madison Academy at 7 p.m. Pictured above are students in kindergarten and first grade running or walking the school track in joint effort of promoting healthy living.
